Academics

At Braselton Christian Academy, we are proud to serve a wide variety of students from PK4-12th grade.

Customized Curriculum

Our curriculum is tailored to fit the needs of the individual child and includes both traditional and activity-based teaching methods/curriculum.

Activity-based curriculum which uses a hands-on approach helps students relate to learning. It provides different experiences for the student which facilitates the acquisition of knowledge therefore increasing confidence and developing vocabulary all while building social skills and study skills. Traditional teaching methods which are used more in the high school classes provide a sense of belongingness while offering an opportunity for student participation.

BCA educators are fully certified, lifelong learners devoted to our students and to our school by continuing their own education and training in order to provide our students with the very best. We seek to provide an environment filled with attainable expectations, mutual respect, and Christian values. Our classrooms boast a low student-to-teacher ratio in order for us to give students the attention and tools that they need to succeed – in school and in the world beyond. We do not believe that four hours of homework a night is the pathway to success. Instead, we feel that when you put a child in an environment filled with attainable expectations and mutual respect, you will see that child reaching to become the best “them” they can be.

Educational Therapy

Our Director, Penney Smith, is a certified National Institute for Learning Development (NILD) Level III educational therapist. Educational therapy is offered to students who may need extra support. Educational therapy can benefit students who have processing disorders, dyslexia, and other learning challenges.

Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program (GSNSP)

If your child has an active Individual Education Plan (IEP) in the public school system, then he or she is eligible for GSNSP funds (also known as SB 10 funds) that will assist you in private school tuition.
